About Me
I was born and raised in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Slippery Rock University. After graduating I moved to Grand Junction and worked in the criminal justice field for ten years with much of that time spent with the Division of Youth Services.
Favorite thing about Grand Junction
My favorite thing about living in the Grand Valley is the number of activities in our backyard. While not at CMU, you will find me taking advantage of the outdoors surrounding the valley. I love fishing on the Grand Mesa or one of the many rivers around western Colorado, hiking/backpacking with my dog Luna, biking around the valley and snowboarding at Powderhorn!

Hiking "Big Dominguez Canyon" with my dog Luna with a quick stop at the frozen waterfall. A great hike in the valley to enjoy the river, waterfall, great views and some petroglyphs.
Fishing one of the Gold Medal waters that are within a short driving distance from Grand Junction.
Enjoying one of my favorite hikes on the Grand Mesa. Crag Crest Trail has amazing views and is a great trail to check out on the Mesa.
